Terms of Service
Last updated: September 16, 2026
These terms apply when you install or use Glint. By installing the app you agree to them.
The service
Glint reads product and content data from your Shopify store and generates 1200×630 social share images for your product and article pages. The images are served from our edge network and referenced from your storefront’s page markup.
Glint is operated by Glint Previews. Contact: support@glintpreviews.com.
Plans and billing
- Free— up to 500 image generations per calendar month. Cards carry a small “Crafted by Glint” mark.
- Pro — $15/month — unlimited generations, no mark, and access to all templates.
All charges are billed through Shopify and appear on your regular Shopify invoice. We never see or store your payment details. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and partial months are not refunded except where required by law.
If you exceed the free allowance, Glint keeps serving a card but replaces it with a notice image until the allowance resets or you upgrade. Your storefront never ends up with a broken image.
Your content
Your products, images, and text remain yours. You grant Glint only the permission needed to read that content and render it into share images on your behalf. We claim no ownership over it and do not use it to train models or for any purpose other than operating the service.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content you put into your store, including product photography and any logos you upload.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Glint to generate images that are unlawful, infringing, or that misrepresent another brand.
- Attempt to circumvent the free-tier allowance, for example by rotating stores to avoid upgrading.
- Resell or redistribute Glint’s rendering endpoint as a standalone image service.
- Probe, scan, or overload the service, or attempt to access data belonging to another merchant.
We may suspend an account that materially breaches these terms. Where practical we will contact you first.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on any plan. Glint is designed to fail safely: if rendering is unavailable, your storefront falls back to its default share image rather than showing a broken one.
We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice in the app.
Liability
Glint is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales or lost profits arising from the service being unavailable or from an image rendering incorrectly.
Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Glint during that period.
Ending the agreement
You may uninstall Glint from your Shopify admin at any time. On uninstall, your access token is revoked immediately and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Glint after a change means you accept the updated terms.
