To help us resolve things on the first reply, please include your .myshopify.com store domain and a link to one product page that is showing the problem.
Getting set up
- Install Glint from the Shopify App Store.
- In the Glint admin, pick a template from the Gallery.
- Use the Mapperto bind your product fields to the template’s slots, and check the result in Preview.
- Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds and switch on Glint OG Image. This is the step that actually puts the card on your storefront — without it, nothing changes on your live site.
My share card did not update
This is almost always caching on the social network’s side rather than a problem with Glint. Facebook, LinkedIn, and X each keep their own copy of a link preview, sometimes for days.
- Paste the product URL into the platform’s own debugger (Meta Sharing Debugger, LinkedIn Post Inspector, X Card Validator) and ask it to re-scrape.
- Confirm the Glint OG Image app embed is still enabled on your published theme — duplicating a theme does not always carry embeds across.
- View your product page’s source and search for
og:image. It should point atapp.glintpreviews.com.
My card shows a notice image instead of my product
You have most likely used all 500 free generations for the month. The allowance resets on the first of each calendar month, or you can upgrade to Pro for unlimited generations from the Billing page in the Glint admin.
Billing
Glint is billed through Shopify and appears on your normal Shopify invoice. Upgrading and cancelling are both handled from the Plan tab in the Glint admin. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the billing period, then moves you to Free; until then, Resubscribe undoes it. We never see your card details.
If a charge looks wrong, email us with your store domain and the date — we will look it up.
Privacy and data deletion
What we store and how to have it deleted is set out in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling Glint triggers deletion automatically; you do not need to email us to make it happen.
